Why can't I use wraparound handles on a JL?

The 2018+ JL/JLU roll bars contain SRS airbags. Wraparound handles can obstruct deployment. Only use bolt-on grab handles on JL/JLU.

Do JK Wranglers have roll bar airbags?

No. JK/JKU 2007-2018 do not have roll bar airbags. Wraparound handles are safe on JK.
